If grip isnt a issue then I say go with the wood grips.

I hate textured grips and I love the beautiful "naturalness" of the wood, so for me it would be the bottom set.
They both look good though.

Top = more useful
Bottom = better looking

Same here. Range gun or safe queen would get the bottom set, anything I saw myself using for carry or in the field would get the top set.

Makes sense,.......doubt this will get much carry time. I also have a set of half
checkered AlumaGrips as well.

I prefer wood to synthetics for looks, but dings and scratches gather fast on wood grips when carried.

Running a Colt Delta without the logo on the grips sucks.
I've run a strip of Agrip or skateboard tape on the frontstrap with smooth grips and had zero problems. I miss all my Deltas.
