Free Wis CCW gun training online

For those Wisconsinites that need to take gun training for the CCW permit here is a free online course that satisfies the application.

Now that is awesome... take that libs who wanted a training requirement!

Why do they ask for so much personal info though? I was gonna take it to see what it was all about, but I'm not giving that kind of info up.

is that site for real? if so it likely qualifies.

personally i'd like some training that is CCW specific.

I wonder how many states this training is actually valid to get a ccw permit?

From the looks of it, it's basically a handgun safety course. Goes over pistol/revolver nomenclature, etc..

Current status of the bill: "The proposal now heads to the full legislature where the Senate could debate it on Tuesday."

It was just amended to require some kind of training as a requirement. I'm not sure if it gets specific (I haven't read the new text).

Exciting. My mom lives in S. Wisconsin, and I was bummed last week when I was up there and couldn't carry. (but it was fun firing my Draco with my brother behind my mom's barn)
