Yea! The range up here opens this weekend!

Let me start out by saying I am pretty much a complete newbie to handguns. I've had a couple of 22's but just got a new G19 gen 3 with a rail mounted Viridan X5L combo tac light / green laser sight.
The range up here in Big Bear closes for the winter months and I received my new Glock over a month ago and can't wait for this weekend when the range finally opens for summer!

It may be worth the cost of buying a quality air gun and a pellet trap. Then you can shoot in the warmth of your home all Winter.

Ok besides being excited to go shoot the new glock for the first time I am reading allot of conflicting info on whether to clean and lube before first use or not.

Glock user manual recommends you clean & oil it before first use.

But wasn't actual first use during factory test fire?

Yes, but I'm 99% sure they didn't oil & clean it after that test fire.

Hence the reason they recommend we do it before our first use.

Had a great time shooting my new first Glock today! Went through 250 rounds in a couple of hours. I learned two things......1) I need more practice and 2) I need a whole bunch more ammo ;-).
