This is breaking news, happen ed around 7pm. Prayers up for the officer. One in custody - at hospital.

News sources are now saying OFC Luna is in good condition at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, GA. I am glad to hear that he is not seriously wounded. Hopefully Sylvester PD will release a statement soon and tell us if the vest caught the round/rounds.

According to the story (updated at the same link as in the original post) the shooter was caught with injuries, but the story does not say if the injuries were cause by the officer.
