I'm Impressed.
I was at my LGS today and he had 2 RIA's on hand. He had a full size model and the 4" model. This was the first chance I have had to check out a RIA 1911 and I really am impressed.
There was no play between the slide and frame on either one.
I darn near brought the 4" model home, but I was planning on the ATI GI 4.25" for my next 1911.

The RIA's are more impressive than the Taurus PT1911's I have seen.

not a chance, they are great values. They aren't going to go punch for punch with a TRP but they are good guns.

I like my RIA a lot I wanna say where getting close to the 1k round mark on it with out any hiccups that have not been caused by ammo. I did have some stove pipe issues using Aguila ammo which I blame the ammo for since it stove pipes my Glock also. The only other 1911 I have shot was a Smith and Wesson 1911 at the range and gotta admit the RIA seems as tight and well shooting. So I am very pleased with it and would not hesitate to get another. Its a great alternative for people who cant plop down 600-800 bucks for a 1911 but still want something quality.

I feel pretty
Oh so pretty
I feel pretty and witty and gay
And I pity
Any girl who isn't me today
I feel charming
Oh so charming
It's alarming how charming I feel
And so pretty

Good grief, maybe this is why we have seen folks talking about the 1911 forum not being what is used to be.
Why don't you guys exchange your love for each other over PM?

Dont blame me, I was talking about RIA's when the Troll (Trent Bray) felt the need to make a personal attack.
