Glock Advanced Armorers course = A+

I attended the Glock Advanced Armorer course in late June at Glock's USA headquarters in Smyrna Georgia.

I would highly recommend the course to any serious Glock Armorer wanting to advance their skill level.

I have attended many manufacturers armorer courses, but Glock treats you the best out of them all. It was well worth the bargain price of $350.00 considering what you get for your money, it's a steal.

I took the AC course under GSF, I don't think we can take the AA course but wish we could, I'd probably make a trip out of it and take it at the headquarters.

Yeah I don't think GSSF members can take the advanced ones. Not sure how you would get in.

Copabeat, can you give us your take on what's covered in the advanced class? Don't know if you've taken the regular class but if so I'd be interested on what level the advanced one takes you.

The G18 is covered in the advanced course but I too was wondering what else they could cover that isn't in the regular course.
Please give is a hint.

Attended the Glock Advanced Armorers School in Pittsburgh, PA (Allegeny County) about 10 years ago. They basically threw a bunch of screwed up guns in a pile and said diagnose and fix 'em. Good time, but after 2 full days of that I didn't want to even look at a Glock for months!
My Chief went to Smyrna for the school around the same time, and said it was a blast. They treated him great, and they even sent him home with some "homemade" tools they use in the factory along with a ton of Glock parts.
The training was well worth the time and money.
BTW, when I went to the school, the G18 was briefly covered, but we didn't get to play with them.

The advanced class in Smyrna is great. I attended one in December 2010. They do have you diagnose and repair 18 guns. It is great for anyone that can attend. I have attended other armorer training and they do rank very high. I can also say that they have been helpful even after the class. Thanks GLock!

According to the Glock web page the AA course is open to any armorer with at least 2 years of experience.
