Got Me a Ruger 1911 Today
IMHO this pistol has got to be one of the best values out there for a stainless 1911 that's made here in the USA.
Now all I need is some new grips. What say you 1911 folks? What looks good on my Ruger?

Nice wood grips look the best. But I'm an old carpenter who loves wood. Boy did I open a door.

Congrats, I havent even been able to see one in person yet.
My dealer has only been able to get one in, and it sold in under an hour.

They are a nice looking gun. From what I've seen they beat out the value line of Springfield Armory by a wide margin.

I'd have to start by replacing the blued small bits. The factory grips I've seen appear just fine for me.
