Only 1 1911 Manufacture
If you could only choose one 1911 manufacture to supply you with 1911's who would it be? I am really curious to here from some of the major collectors opinions. Keep in mind they can only supply you with what they offer no custom one off guns.
I know me personally I have no clue I have not experienced enough of the different 1911 manufactures to make a choice.

Colt or Springfield Armory. Both make enough production guns in just about any fashion you could ever want.
Me I would go with SA nothing against Colt I just never owned one.

I'm no "major collector" but I prefer Springfield Armory.
Best customer service, best range of models from GI to Pro.

STI for me. Sub-$1,000 all the way up to full blown race guns. Plus, they're fellow Texans.

Colt; the first and in my opinion the best.

If only "Production" I would go with Colt.
If I can include the Custom Shop... Springfield.

I guess that leaves Infinity out, as all there guns are custom now. They do offer three team guns though.
