Sucks to be me today
Went to the shooting range in Junction City , KS yesterday with my new glock magazines and X200 light. Brought the light to ensure my G22 functioned correctly with my new magazines and light. Turns out I didnt need the light too bad because I left it on the range table. I was in the store for a little bit afterwards and a few people came in after me. No one said anything though and no one called me either though. They know what department I work for I think so I think someone might have picked it up. Going to call them when they open and hopefully someone HONEST picked it up.
On another note would a safariland 6360 holster that carries a x200 work with a streamlight trl-s

Best of luck on getting your Light back. I got a good feeling you will I know personally I have found at the range.
Assorted Mags
1911 Handgun
Boxes of Ammo
Ammo Box
Keys
Targets
The only two things I didn't bother turning into the Range officer where the targets and ammo. I knew they would not except either item and just tell me to keep it. People would not call and ask about it. The other items I did not even think twice about turning in. I think in general people are honest about things.

Yes. The 6360-832 for a Glock with a light will fit virtually any non-laser equipped light, including the X series, TLR series, Insight Procyon, and LAS-TAC 2

Have yet to hear from the officer doing the report. Will give him a few more days and give him a call to see if he had any progress.
I put it on the lost and found portion of a website that is similar to craigslist but only local to us. Someone emailed me shortly afterwards and asked if there was a reward. I told them $100.00 and they said they would ask the person to see if they want to return it. WTF.

Sounds like you can do a little investigation and track them down, take your light back, and give them nothing in return.

Yup
I'll give him something alright.
I'm sure it was the two soldiers that came in after me. Plus due to the fact its basically a military post website that advertises things for sale like craigslist. Did a search on the guys email and nothing came up

It sounds like it is now a case of theft. I would track down the e-mail address by getting ahold of whatever service he is using. Then send him a nice e-mail using his name and address informing him that you would like your property back.

In some states, holding another persons property for ransom will earn you an orange jumpsuit...
If the DBIQ is military, he can kiss his security clearance goodby. Taking someones property could also earn him a court-marshal. I REALLY hate thieves.

Going to call the officer tomorrow and forward him the emails. All I have for the name on the email is a common name that I can PM to someone if they want.
theft of lost property is a crime in Ks since he obviously didnt make an attempt to return it to the owner.

Did the sending email server have a .mil extension? There's a LOT of useful information buried in the email source that most people are clueless about.

I'm not a current LEO so probably better not to go down that road. Wouldn't want you to get your ass handed to you for sharing evidence with an old has-been.
If it's a yahoo address, there MAY be a real email address and personal information behind it but you'll need some help prying the information out of the yahoo folks.

I've never charged it myself, but folks have been charged with Extortion around here for demanding cash to return a lost or stolen cell phone. I love it...they set up a controlled delivery and hook 'em.

I hate thieves, especially ones that will do me the "favor" of selling me my own property back. Piece of ****.

Do you know if that light will fit on a G19?
Seriously, that email is lame as hell, file that with "these aren't my pants".

Winner. Set up a controlled delivery and give him his "reward".
