What else is there?
Some cat wrote in to the American Rifleman mag and asked them to slow up on having 1911,s in their mag, he said they run it in the ground. He said it is an awesome pistol but quit running it in the ground. What the hell, Mel, I didn't know there was something other than a 1911

They should do more on all the different model of glocks there are. We all know how different and unique each model is, unlike the very homogenous design of all the 1911s.

1911s ain't the only 45acp bullet launchers out there. I work on several others as well!
This is a select-fire M10/45. I'll be relocating the charging handle to the left side and adding an Aimpoint to the top.
Here's a pic of the owner hunting some dinner.

Just for that KC your gonna bring. We've got .45 but if you're gonna shoot a .338 luppua at 2.50 a round or burn a few .50 rds or 454casull, 500, .480. .308 thru a 1919 browning or a thousand rds. thru AR-15s then you can brind the .45. Just remember this shoot is for kids and young adults who don't or haven't shot much. Basically you just grab what ever is on the trailor load up and start shooting. It's a hoot. I'll make sure the kids get their turn. Although really isn't a turn as 5-6 might be shooting at the same time. All semi auto so far but we try at times to have a Mini Knobs Creek.

I've been wanting to write in with my own gripe.
"If I see one more article about a "me too" DAO plastic framed .40 I will stop my subscription. I always pass by magazines with cover pictures of a Glock, XD, or M&P and go for the one with the 1911 cover."
Let's see how that goes over. Lol!

I dont get tired of it because there is so many 1911 makers and so much stuff that caters to the 1911. I mean, how many times can you talk about the Glock 22 or the M&P? I don't even buy magazines anymore. 2 magazines is 1 box of 9mm. Enough said.

That's because the letter writer knew that AR would be pushing this on us as the next 1911-variation to own.
It's called the Pimp-o-licious A1.

Earlier in this thread I posted some pics of the M10/45 before mods.
Well here it is pretty much done. Just needs Cerakote.
I relocated the cocking handle to the left side. Mounted the Aimpoint to
the top. Got the folding stock squared away. Fabricated a collar to prevent
the can from unscrewing.
Next up is to attach a length of Picatinny rail to the bottom of the can
for mounting a vertical grip and light.

If there's not a 1911 on the cover, I won't even take the magazine off the shelf, look at all the pictures and tear out all the advertisements before I stuff the dog-eared P.O.S. back on the shelf in the wrong spot, and then walk to the ammo counter and buy ALL the 9mm and 45.

Where's the golfballing? Seriously, I think that would be cool as hell with some golfball work.

Say! Wouldn't it be nice if BGH changed the name from Glock Talk to 1911 Forums?
