5 shot mag extension - anyone run one?
I have an old Mossberg 9200 Viking with a 28" VR barrel on it that I bought for a song several years back. I had carried it a few times in the woods looking for squirrels but the .17 HM2s have since replaced it in that use. Now it simply sits in the safe - a gun without a job.
I have a short 500 as my HD gun and if I need something for the woods, I have a Maverick 88 for that duty - so after seeing some 5 shot mag extensions for the 9200 (to give 10 in the tube), I was just curious as to if those work OK and how they affect the balance of the shotgun. I do realize that I can probably find a shorter barrel for it that would make it more compact, but what's the fun in that? So does anyone have any experience with the 'full length' shotguns with the super long extensions?

Reason: The extension is for 5 rounds, making a total of 10.
