They re-run them today as well! You didnt really miss much! They showed WAY more when one of the shows covered Les Baer, but it was alright. I think Im going to be picking up one of the 10 special edition guns that SACS is doing for Scott Warren. Under 2k, 9mm 1911 with the competition shooter in mind. Seems to me that its a PRO in 9mm with his sights and loved over for an ESP or Single Stack shooter.

yep, didn't miss much.

here's some Quack notes:
- SACS started in a 10x12 shack
- 12 smiths
- 4 guild members
- Dave Williams has been named Pistolsmith of the year.
- They can pretty much build you anything
- frames start oversized
- frame slide fit takes about 45min to an hour
- Rob Leatham is picky about his squared trigger guard.
- they have a Ransom Rest for testing.

That part was edited out after they found a Jack Daniels bottle on the bench next this 1911 build.

They've had good American Rifleman episodes the last two weeks and I've missed both of them... think it was last week that they had a show about 1911's in combat.

I think my buddy who has regular communication with Scott has 3 coming in. 1 for him and the other 2 i think he was planning on selling, you can contact scott through his website email. I will look into it on my end. Good news is to, that they are supposed to be finished by september!

Wow! You don't see a lot of golf balling coming out of SACS.

That's almost the same frame.

i thought it was a good show. very patient folks. i dvr all that stuff every Wed. nite. i like Rob Pincus and the knife guy. the average person doesn't want to get into a blade encounter with that guy.
