I've been doing some reading on here and see a lot of Gen 4 owners are changing out their Gen 4 guide rods with a Gen 3 guide rod. Is there a reason why this is being done? Are the Gen 4's no good? If someone were to purchase a new model 22, Gen 4...would they have to change it out for something more reliable or is the factory guide rod reliable as is? Thanks.
The Gen4 features a dual recoil spring. They are ammo sensitive.
