No thread about the market drop today?
Glad I cashed out of AMD recently when it jumped up 20% and kept the money in cash.
It will be a while before I put the money back in, going to wait and see what happens with the economy for a bit.

Everyone is too busy liking their wounds and hoping they don't get finished off tomorrow.

No one here is surprised.
Most have prepared by moving into safer things by now. Not much sympathy for those who haven't learned, over the last 10 years, how fragile our economy is right now and prepared accordingly.

Beware of electronic money.
You don't really have it.
Own what you have.

My money has gained value. The lead, copper and brass I invested in years ago and have been since then has trippled in value.

Agreed. Keeping it in cash is as bad or worse than anything you can do right now imo.
(tho i dont think the snickering is called for)

Israeli market is down 7% today. Monday is going to be interesting. The Asian markets should be opening soon.

I remember there were people thumping their chests after the drop the other day because they bought in heavily thinking the price was a bargain, and it was. Problem is that it is just going to go down more and more for a while.
