Tell me about the potatoes!
Cook potato the day before
Grate them coarse, add salt
Put butter in a frying pan bake em golden

you can use uncooked potatoes, but squeeze them well to remove all excessive moisture

Ossi,

I just received this e-mail.. have you heard about this down there??

My understanding is North America, (Canada & USA) have not addressed this yet.. danger from animal blood bacteria etc..

This video is shocking & everyone should be aware of what they are doing and what you are buying!!! I have never seen or heard of such a thing!!!

That almost reminds me of a dish our chef made. (He was THE best chef that worked for my parents when they were in the hotel and restaurant business years ago.)

Our chef's name was Rick and he was from Australia. (I can't remember exactly where he was from in Australia, though.) He was my favorite. I loved to listen to him talk...and his food was amazing!!!

I also love your food threads, Ossi!

Yep I heard about it, and I actually tried it
It's made from Milk Protein, We used it for the Airline Catering Industry. Because they have such small plates every steak has to be the same size.
But we used small Tenderloins, put two together Head to point, rolled into plastic to give them a uniform size and then cut them into steaks.

Unfortunately there is a lot of cheating going on.
