Which one would you get?
I think it's time for me to add another handgun to the collection. At first, I was going to get a Kahr PM9 with night sights. I still probably will but I might hold off for a minute. The main reason I want to get the Kahr is because I want to get something smaller than my Glock 23 for summer carry and it look likes a really nice gun. Now I'm kind of leaning towards a 1911, especially the Kimber Custom TLE II. I always wanted a 1911 and I don't know if I should wait until after I get my Kahr or just get it before. Now here is where I need your help. I'm wondering if I should get the one with the accessory rail or not? I don't really like how they look but I do plan on buying a TLR-2s soon and I could put that on it.
Which one of these guns would you get and why?

Personally, I'd take the TLE over the PM9.

If those are your only two choices, the TLE for sure. I don't like Kahr's at all. Everyone I have shot were trash. If you aren't dead set on only those two, the EMP is a great combo of both options.

The EMP runs circles around the PM9. I have owned both, and the PM9's trigger was dreadful compared to the EMP. Get the EMP and have Logman cut down a flush fit mag (the way they should have come from the factory). You cannot do better for that sized package. I am not a Kimber fan, so I would not even consider it over the EMP.

I did not like my PM9 at all. It just felt cheap, and I hated the trigger.
I think the EMP is a great small 1911 if you want a mix of your choices.
If you have a 23 and want to add something, everyone needs a full-size 1911. I do not know much about Kimber but I would go with the TLE over the PM9.

I'd look towards something in the officers frame, alloy, and 3-4.25" barrel area if you're looking to replace the glock.
Ive got the G33 with G32 mag and A&G sleeve, and carrying my 3" aluminum 1911 is much nicer IMO.

or you could get the SPringfield Micro Operator. its smaller than the G23, and has a light rail and XML light.

The polymer Kahrs are pure junk, my Wife and I both had CW45's that we got rid of because they were trash.
Get the EMP.

A very good choice, they also have it without the light and rail, or you can get the rail model and just remove it (not sure how well it would fit existing holsters ??)
Same footprint etc as my UCII, much much better to carry than my G32 sized G33 IMO.
Others to consider:
DW CCO
STI Shadow
Colt TALO CCO

A 1911 is not to have a light rail. It's like having a 1911 in 9mm.

I own a Kahr PM9 and it's one of the best 9mms around IMO, it's eaten everything I've thrown at it like candy. Extremely handy for summer carry, but so is an EMP.
