Dan Wesson CCO....in 38 Super????

I just got a "hint" from Keith at DW that a CCO 38 Super is in the works.

(I don't know anything for sure, I may have gotten the "hint" wrong. So don't buy stock yet...)

But what do you fellas think??

Interested?

Well, a LW frame 10mm CCO would be a handful....and hell on a LW frame.

I don't know about the CCO in 38 Super, but pretty soon, I'll have something to say about the Guardian in 38 Super.

Don't know if I'd want a CCO in 10mm, but I'd be on a Guardian in 10mm, to quote Dave, like hobo on a ham sandwich.

I suppose, though the dw cco already uses a ramped barrel, I just wonder how much more of a handful than my 3" alum with RA45TP, or my G33...

Handful, sounds like fun

Heck, if they offered it in .40S&W i'd buy it before the super, at least then one could have a 10mm barrel fit also, and even .357sig if you wanted, all with the same slide.

I'm just set in my ways on officers sized frames for carry, and dont want to buy something that I wouldnt carry, other than a .22 1911 for practice.

That would be a cool gun and converted to 38 Super if you wanted too.

That would be cool. I've been considering a 38 Super/9mm switch-barrel carry combo, but am a long ways from being able to afford to get Wilson Combat to build me one. What I'd really like for this configuration would be a bull barrel bushingless setup.

.38 Super makes a LOT of sense in that package. 9x23 would be fun too.

I have no use for a .38 Super, it's not that I don't think it's a great round but I reload for five calibers now and that is plenty for me.

I would buy another CCO in 9MM as I prefer the CCO to the Guardian, but that's me.
