Swimming with G27

Have been going to the pool lately with the fam and packing a G27 with Federal HSTs. And not taking it off when I submerge. After a couple of days of this, went to the range and every single round went bang without a problem.

So, when at the pool, carry on! Course, I wouldn't try this with the cheap target loads.

I dont want my gun or holster in the pool with me. Good to know it still works but I will take mine off before I jump in.

I can certainly respect that. But evil comes to you my friend. You don't have to go looking.

I only swim at my moms, you couldnt make it in the backyard faster than I could get to where my gun goes when I am there swimming. Like I said good info but will pass on the swimming with it on. But since I live in houston and you sweat the second you walk out of the house its almost like swimming with it on just walking around

This says more about the ammo than the gun.

Clean it good and lube, the stuff they put in pools is quite nasty on metals.

I don't know about that. I had a UMC round go through the wash the other day. It fired fine afterward. Maybe just luck?

Oh wow! UMC is the cheap stuff to. I don't think they lacquer the primer or anything and it still went bang? Interesting.

Yeah, I went out in the back yard with the wet one in my mag. Racked and fired. Came back in and told my wife it was still good.

"not any more! " she replied.
