Detective Carpico was a good man and a damn fine cop. I didn't know him that well but we worked a couple of cases together. He will be sorely missed, and I can't imagine what inner demons led to this tradgedy. May he rest in peace.

Tragic, we never know what issues seem overwhelming to folks we know.

Obviously a good man - he had a conscience and that's probably why -

As I've said before, a struggle with inner demons is not an easy thing to deal with or overcome. I've seen way too many during my career take this route and the loved ones left behind having to deal with the aftermath...It's tragic all the way around. Prayers to his family, friends and department........

Couldn't have said it any better myself.

May God be with you. R.I.P. my brother. This is very sad and effects the rest of the Dept. The Detective is now at peace.
