NYC Purchase Orders - How Long from Request to Approval?
Folks,
Anyone applied for a NYC purchase order recently? How long did it take from the time you sent the request in to the time you got the "approval letter"?

yeah, month to month and a half.do oyu think do to the 911 ceromonies it will be slowed down some?

Nope; the civilians in the license division move at the same snail's pace all year long no matter what is going on......................

Folks,
Got the following info from a staffer at the NYPD license bureau:
If they received a purchase order request on 7/14 or 7/15, the requester can expect to get the "approval letter" by 9/9. That's 8 weeks.
