Interesting, very interesting...
Although the "potential to last for over 10 years" does seem to limit the use of this to a home owner.
Then again, most storage buildings built by homeowners don't last nearly that long, so who knows.

I thought this was designed for the creation of expediant, but strong and durable shelters. It is probably a better home than more than a billion people have. It appears too expensive to be practical.

I suspect this ain't cheap.
Those interior shots at the end seemed to make it appear to be a lot bigger than the outside would suggest. What is this, a TARDIS?

At ~$55/sqft one could build an ICF with a concrete roof dried in. Maybe more. A lot more. Granted it is harder to bring to the site and slower to get together.
I had seen some early estimates on the 172 sqft structure at $2,100. That is a reasonable price.
The $30k price is something only the DOD could love.
A little bit of do it yourself could get this a lot cheaper. http://www.monolithic.com/

Very interesting concept. I suppose it would be a quick & convenient way to get a structure up in a BOL. As is often the case, you pay for "quick and convenient".

i could see these being quite useful for the DOD in cases like the tent cities around baghdad and other similar places. alot faster and stronger than tents and sandbags. but like said above, move expensive.

It would be a giant pain-in-the-*** if and when the time comes to dispose of it. I guess some heavy machinery and a dump truck could take care of it for a few grand.

It looks like a quick (if expensive) way to get a bunch of buildings put up quickly. Quick and convenient aint cheap, usually. Probably easier than blowing up a shaped tent and blowing shotcrete on the outside, though.

At 6800lbs it isn't very practical unless it is positioned on or near its final location. Also need vehicle to help stretch it out, electric fan to inflate it (and a pretty strong one at that, I'll bet) plus a water delivery system to activate the concrete.
Given all of this, would it be more practical to just buy a surplus shipping container and leave it at the final location instead?
Still, this is very interesting
