Stupid Charger control panel backlight!

How do you dim the gauge cluster while your lights are off and you're parked? I'm trying to run some traffic and I'm lit up like a freakin Christmas tree! F this car. Gimme back my Vic!

Edit: It's a 2011

I've gone both ways...didn't work out. The dimmer switch near the trunk release only dims the in dash (behind the steering wheel) LCD display.

The odometer lights up the whole inside of my unit (F150) with no way to shut it off or dim it.

Hop down to your local craft store and pick up some craft foam. It comes in sheets a little less than 1/8" thick. Cut it out to fit over your panel. Don't forget to poke a hole where the trip meter reset can stick through.

I hate new technology.
