Grip Force Adapter
I ordered a Grip Force Adapter for my Gen 3 G17. So now that the horse is out, I'll close the barn door.... has anyone been using one? How do you like it?

I saw one on the shot show in the begining of the year and orderd right after this...I love it. It comes w 3 plastic pins to replace the original metal-one...
Be careful when pluging the plastic pin, use the side with the little indent, I found out that this way works best...at least for me...
Here is my G22 with the grip force.
Keep in mind that you can glue it also on to the frame, it looks much better...I did not do it, but the guns on the Shot Show were looking very well with the silicone under the adapter, I'll see if I got some pictures.
BTW, Glok makes also beavertail insert for the gen4, some how I never seen anybody using one...:

Had one, didn't like it. Seemed to exacerbate the issues I have with the hump in the backstrap and finger grooves. I eventually took it off.

In their booth on the Shot Show they had the adapter glued on to the slide with some silicone...I spoke with the guy and he said that it doesn't have to be anything fancy, just good quality silicone... I cannot find the actual p ictures, when I find them I will post it, but you're right - it stays very solid and does not squicks or moves during shooting.
This adaptor was designed with Bill Rogers partisipation, if I'm not mistaking... I would not expect anything elese but solid product...
+1, I like it too.
BTW, I did send few of them to some friends, LEO and anti-terror guys in Europe, people that are training and shooting on daily bases. Most of them like it, one of them found that it did not do much difference for his shooting... I took it to the range and compared "before" and "after" grouping, I
believe it gives me little bit tighter group and slightly faster follow up shots...I'm happy with it and I'm keeping it...

Here are the picture that I found from the SHOT Show in Vegas, one can see the silicone on the top-one:

Hey TedG,
Whats going on with the top of the slide just in front of rear sight? Why is there a cut out?

I ordered a "Grip Force Adapter" also.

The G17 slide was milled. With so many places becoming anti-smoking, sometimes it's hard to find an ash tray. So, I decided to have one built into the slide.
Actually, it's for weight reduction. The front of the slide is also milled-out like a G34. Check out the Cylinder & Slide site for the full description.

May I ask who's barrel you have on your Model 34 please?
And....if you find the time, what's your opinion?
