Isn't ****** pretty renowned for taking money on out of stock items and not saying anything while making the customer wait for a long time? I'm asking because I've seen complaints all over the forums, not because I have any experience with them.

aimsurplus.

I place 3 orders for mags alone with no problem. On the other hand I place an order for ubr stock had to wait about a mouth, but they do not charge your card till it ships. ****** has had a bad rep in the past with S#$%^ sercive but has came a long way. With all the bad reviws on the web it took me a long to to place orders with them, but in all they have great prices and some killer deals with free shipping and no tax along with it.

They have Glock mags for 22 bucks every day price . Give them a try.

Since the OP asked about HK mags and E-Mags, I'm guessing he needs them for a rifle that wont work with PMags. Good luck finding either for cheap.

I want Emags for looks and compatability in a wider range of guns.

I want to try both to see which I like best before getting 15-20 of them.

There are very few guns that use STANAG magazines that won't work with pmags. Unless you already own one of those, or plan to buy one in the near future, just buy standard pmags.

If you are dead set on EMAGs or HK SA80 mags, HKParts has used HK magazines for $29.95 each, and they are in stock. They even have the 20 round HK mags in stock, but they want an obscene amount of money for them. For EMAGs, you'll pay around $20-22 each from plenty of places online. Don't pay anything over $22.95, since that's POR for them, and you can get them direct from Magpul at that price.

BS!!! they charge your card immediately whether in stock or not. Sleezy company and the only people that do business with them are people who haven't been burned, yet. It will happen.

EMags and HK mags are kind of on the opposite end of the spectrum...

Is there some issue you have with GI mags?

You know ****** (and their associated companies) are Jewish Organized Crime, right?

(although they probably would sell to Iran!)

Jewish isn't a nationality, it is a religon that can be found to some degree around the world. Here is an article from Shmuley Boteach who is the son of Yoav ****** (Boteach), http://www.jewishjournal.com/rabbi_s...rity_20100810/
What I see from the actions of ****** companies and individuals as a whole is a complete disdain for the American shooting crowd and actions by some of the relatives that have put our U.S. soldiers in harmís way. As the article points out, Yoav ****** (Boteach) came from Iran and as the article puts it, He remains firmly attached to his Iranian heritage.

That's very interesting... I was under the impression they were Cypriot Jews.

I apologize for misspeaking, but I also want to make clear that I wasn't saying anything about their ethnic heritage or religion.

****** is still not an honest operation.

FWIW, HK mags are not especially well regarded by some very serious shooters. Some special forces unit got a bunch of the first run, only to have the mag springs crap out at about the thousand round mark, leading to frequent failures to feed. My guess is that HK has since corrected the issue, but the question still remains, why bother with such an expensive magazine? I see world-class shooters with $3,500+ setups almost universally feeding their guns with either PMags or GI mags with Magpul followers. Cost is not an issue for these guys, so I'm led to believe that, initial problems with them aside, there really is no reason to go with the HK mags.

My understanding of the issue isn't that the springs went bad, but that the springs were simply not fast enough to handle sustained FA fire from the M4A1. The HK STANAG magazines were originally designed for the SA80, which has a slower cyclic rate than the M4A1 does. As long as you are shooting in semi, or using controlled busts with a 3-round or FA system, the HKs perform nicely.

The other reason you see the SF types ditching them, and the lack of use with 3-gun shooters, is weight. Theres a noticeable difference between a loaded HK magazine and a loaded PMAG when inserted into a weapon. When youre humping a dozen magazines or more with a full combat load, plus spares in a pack, that weight adds up FAST. For a competition shooter, the little extra weight on your belt and in your weapon can make a few tenths of a second difference.
