Took my G26 out this morning for a walk in the Saguaro National Monument park this morning. Just got through unloading it and putting it back in the safe.

G26 in the safe? What do you use for home defense?

Conceal carried it this morning on my left hip on my trip to Auto Zone to get some oil for the wifes car. Came home took it off changed into some old cloths to do the oil change and haven't touched it since. But it's not but a few feet away while I search the net and watch some football.

That's what I'm doing brother. The Patriots are hosting the Cowboys. G17 ready.

I'd want a $0.25 trigger job, but I don't have a quarter!

Today, my Glock 19 went to work with me for eight hours and came home. Soon, I'm going to go visit my Dad, so the Glock 19 said it wanted a nap, so I'm grabbing my SA Loaded to go visit Dad.

Took my M3 tac light off of my G21 and tried it on my G19L (G17 slide on a G19 frame I built ), decided I didn't like it, and put it back.

Today? I kept it close at hand....Friday night, the 14th of October, it rode along in my favorite Kydex IWB to the premere of "The Thing". As I write this, it is close at hand. Ohh and the "Thing"? Worth every dime. Will own it when it hits DVD.

Are you gonna shoot the TV?
Sorry, it's just the first thing, I thought of.

No way. My 40" color TV is too expensive. Besides, to shoot my G17, I have to get the G17 out, pull my Otapin safety out, and then pull the trigger. I should calm down enough during the process.

Looks like
i'm not the only one who rounded off the front of the trigger guard.
Did the same thing to my G26.

I like the look of a rounded trigger guard, just never did it to any of my Glock's. Beretta 92FS came with the "finger hook" trigger guard too. Only pistol I have without one is my 1911.

Today I took my 36/30 hybrid out for the Endless Shrimp at Red Lobster. Then bought it a fancy coffee at Barnes and Noble. Last we strolled around Lowes and purchased parts to fix the water heater. Saturday, the 36/30 rode OWB while I cut grass...not a good idea. She got all dusty and dirty. So, I had to clean her. I decided this would be a good time to do the .25 cent trigger job. Not sure it changed much since some but not all of the parts were already polished.

All my pistols have the rounded trigger guard except the CZ but it a bigger pistol and it doesn't come into play with my shooting style. I just couldn't get my grip comfortable with that point on the trigger guard when shooting the gun. Also buy rounding off the trigger guard the G26 fits in some of my holsters that it didn't fit in to well before I did it.

I picked her up from my LGS on Friday, and fed it about 150 rds this afternoon. Decided to get a wild hair up my arse and take aim at a metal plate 100 yds downrange, hit it 4 times, which is 4 times more than I thought I would. After that, came home, stripped it down and cleaned it up, and its sitting on my nightstand freshly cleaned and reloaded with 185 gr silver tipped hollow points.

Traded my buddy my Glock 30sf for my Glock 19 I sold him a few months ago. I missed that gun alot. Thought I would be alright with a conversion barrel I bought for my Glock 23, but it isn't the same thing.

Got the new RSA for my Gen4 23. Fired off a little over 100rounds through it to compare. Maybe its all in my head, but recoil seems a little lighter. Had my best grouping today, although I think it had little to do with the new spring. I believe I am just getting used to the gun. Anyway, I had fun with it and then came home and gave it a bath. It's so pretty when clean.
