What ammo do you use on duty?

Added grip plug to the Glock 17 after cleaning up from range trip. And loaded it up with new Gold Dot 124gr +P. It's feeling ready...

Cleaned it.
My G34 is used for competition and I have a Vanek custom trigger in it. So now I have to clean it every 1,000 rounds. :(
I remember the good ole' days when she'd go 5,000 rounds without so much as a wiping down.

Took the G27 and the new G17 to the range, 50 rounds through the G27 keeping proficient and the G17 got 150 rounds; then I took them both home and both got a full detail strip cleaning.

How do you like your G17? It is my CCW gun.

Just noticed a lot of you have your guns listed in your signature. I found a site called GunZoo ( www.gunzoo.com) that builds a forum signature for you that are links to pics of your actual guns in your GunZoo GunVault.
Here is a link on how to create your GunZoo GunVault forum signature in under 2 minutes.
Click on any gun in my signature line and you can see my collection.
p.s. Hopefully you don't think this is spam. GunZoo is free and they aren't selling ads so they don't make money by you going to their site. The owners actually pay out of their own pockets to run the site.
p.s.s Glock Talk rocks!

Well today
I OC'd with my G17 and rode my bicycle into NH to my favorite cafe diner for lunch. No one was concerned that I OC'd.

Put about 100 rounds through my G36 and put about 50 rounds through the 23, and the wife put another 150 through the 23. Unfortunately, we got to the range late, so had to leave early before I was "finished." Still had fun though!

That reminds me... I also shot my buddy's brand new G27. First time to shoot one. He had the crimson trace laser on it... nice little gun!

Today I installed my new 6" Glock hunter barrel in my fairly new, (got her in July), G20-SF. I loaded a few mags with Underwood 180gr FMJ, (1300fps), and 165gr JHP, (1400fps), tossed in a couple "extra" boxes of Underwood, (love this stuff), and PPU, (good for trigger training cause it's cheap, but it's basically .40 S&W), and took her out to the "range", (public BLM land). She absolutely annihilated a bunch of plastic bottles full of water, (1 165gr JHP cut a gallon milk jug practically in half), punched some paper, and got some great groupings, (shot out the knots ), on a random piece of pine I found out there.
The above velocities have been confirmed through independent tests using a stock G20, (4.6" barrel).
10mm continues to impress me with its accuracy and power, (in a proper full-power loading). Using a 6" barrel increases the velocity of every round significantly, (while reducing felt recoil), so every shot, (even the Serbian crap), was that much hotter and more effective.

I function tested my 40s&w minor load. A friend brought two of his GLOCKs one chambered in 357sig and the other 10mm. You want to talk about some fun. I want one of each just to have them. Yesterday he let me shoot his G24C. That was also really fun. We were shooting some of my hot Power Pistol loads. The fire balls coming off the gun were about 1ft from the ceiling. In the last 48 hours have shot three bad ass guns.
Thanks Vrrooooom.

Did nothing today with any of my three...
Went to work with my new-to-me snub .38. Beretta 92FS is doing nightstand duty lately.
My Glock's are going to be sooooo mad.

I received my Fed Ex from Glockmeister today. I had company over to watch the Buckeyes beat Wisconsin tonight, so I'm gonna install the Extended slide release an rubber Decal grips on my G20SF on Sunday.

Today I shot 276 rounds of bulk into 4 targets at 5 yards, just to put in some practice time at the range.

I gave my G17 a little brother. Got a G19 today, 3rd Gen, born on December 2007, but still had the factory grease in it, guy shot it after purchase and stuck it in the safe. (I had always regreted the day I sold my last G19 and swore I would replace it one day, did that today)

Just curious, did you tests the 165 JHP's for penetration on more than one milk jug?

Not this trip. I only had the one milk jug, (the other plastic bottles I brought were smaller), and ~45 min of daylight left.
I'll go out again soon. I want to see if full-power 10mm can set off a Tannerite target, (I suspect it can).. that oughta be fun.
