Glock SBR?

Zak, I'm considering an SBR in 9mm. One of the options I'm thinking about is a Hera adaptor on a Glock. If I make the SBR, is it still possible to take the Glock out and shoot it as a pistol? I plan on suppressing it and figured one threaded barrel and gun would get me a suppressed handgun and carbine.
