45 ACP in a snubbie

Mas,

What's is thoughts on a SD round for my scandium frame S&W 325 PD. I have been shooting the Federal hydra-shok 165 grain personal defense round.

What does your experience suggest for this caliber?

I never ran across a shooting with that particular .45 ACP round.

You might want to look at the 230 grain Short Barrel Gold Dot load, optimized for performance at lower velocities. HST and Ranger-T are also designed with a wide velocity window to assure expansion even at lower velocities.

best,
mas

Thanks I will seek out the Gold Dots see how they handle. Recoil in this light gun is significant but I have a 475 Linebaugh that kicks a heck of allot harder!
