There's not hot librarians at the college either. I'm pretty sure I go to the ugliest college in Michigan, hell they let me in!

This weekend, a large section of the German city of Koblenz will come to a standstill as bomb experts gingerly defuse a massive World War II bomb that recently emerged from the Rhine River due to low water levels. Almost half of the residents will be evacuated, the largest such operation in the city's history.
Unexploded ordnance from World War II frequently turns up in German communities, and sometimes authorities are forced to evacuate small areas to dispose of the dangerous explosives. But a large bomb that recently surfaced in the Rhine River has sparked security measures of historic proportions in the central German city of Koblenz.
Three meters (10 feet) long and weighing 1.8 tons, the aerial bomb was recently spotted after a particularly dry November lowered water levels along the busy river. Now preparations are underway for a massive evacuation set for Sunday.
Some 45,000 residents -- nearly half of the city's total population of 106,000 -- will be forced to leave the area. That includes two hospitals, seven retirement homes and the jail. To aid in the operation, the city has organized some 900 people and 350 vehicles to ferry residents to safety.
Each household included in the evacuation will be notified via flier, he said. "And on Sunday we'll go ringing from house to house," he added. Emergency workers need a 1.8-kilometer (1.1-mile) radius buffer zone to ensure safety.

Wow... can't imagine that because we Americans have pretty much been insulated from any full scale war on our soils.

Farmers would find various unexploded explosives nearby in Butner/Berea in North Carolina years ago, and maybe not so long ago: http://www.saw.usace.army.mil/News/News.asp?id=17

As much as I hate to disagree that one was started by not so dear Adolf, Mussolini joined in, and the Emperor of Japan was doing what he was doing. So in a nutshell, those were the ones who started off the hostilities. Korea was started off by the North side, and the country has been two ever since. Vietnam was started off by the French Foreign Legion messing with them, and we all lost a good portion of our own population from it. I remember Vietnam from growing up with it, and having a cousin there. And, we were all involved in the Cold War, with our former allies the Russians being behind the opposition, and being the opposition. Fun times they were. Now we have the darn Muzzies.

If you want a PM9, you should talk to SDForce. His whole squad had bad experiences with them.

VW Donates Diesel Jettas To Tennessee Police
Police departments rarely utilize diesel-powered vehicles for patrol cars, and even fewer use Volkswagens – at least here in the U.S. But thanks to a new donation from VW, the City of Chattanooga and Hamilton County may consider the value of a diesel-powered VW yet.
According to Hickory Volkswagen Dealers, Volkswagen is building a plant in Tennessee to build the upcoming replacement for the Passat, code named New Midsize Sedan (NMS). In an effort forge strong ties with its new neighbors, Volkswagen donated two Jetta SportWagen TDIs each to the Chattanooga police and the Hamilton County police.

Howdy! Stopping in for a quick minute. German police cars in the states? Why not? As long as we have access in the states to parts needed for them. But, we still need the US automakers going.

Will trade on thursday probably, the other guy is an officer too, but I found his contact via an austrian gun board.
I just need a small gun to carry when I am off duty. Dont like the USP, its too big. The G26 is nice, but also little bit too wide.
I really liked the Ruger you had during our ghetto tour, but that one and the PM9 are very hard to get here.
The officer told me, he had to pay about 1500$ for the PM9... ridicioulus isnt it? .. but at least there are the night sights on it. Always wanted a gun with night sights.
We will see, but I think I take it. Will send SDForce a PM

It is cheaper to just paint some glow in the dark paint on the sights. $5 a bucket here.

I have a watch with tritium points on it and I love it. Beats glow in the dark paint in a second.
