Went to the doc this morning. Luckily, what I thought was a gall bladder attack was just really, really bad acid reflux. Starting some new meds today, but no surgery, thank goodness.

Good to hear that there is no surgery involved. Have a glass of grape juice or wine during the day, when off duty and at home relaxing. What Paul had written, a little wine for the stomach's sake, it applies elsewhere in the body.

Have a glass of wine and relax. It actually helps me out, as long as I don't overdo it.

Yes! Thanks, got it last night when I got home. I must say, you guys have much better fitting shirts than our American square cut shirts. I might need to hit you up to get me some more of those short sleeved tee shirts just for casual wear.
I also started in on the foodstuffs... the chocolates are very different tasting, a lot richer and creamier than our sad American sanitized chocolates. Haven't gotten to the little bottles yet, is it liquor? I got to translate a lot of the stuff, I tell ya.
Thanks for all the stuff, it was very cool and you got a great selection of stuff. I'm putting together an American package, give me a little time.

good to hear. I think it shouldnt be a problem to get more shirts. Did you get Bad Boy Wong over?
The chocolate I sent you is a good collection of typical stuff here. The rest available is mostly american candy, little bit german, little bit from switzerland.
And yes the bottles are liquor. You will be suprised of the good taste haha.

Howdy! Home for a bit, and then back for a little more money to earn in overtime. Nice to be home and relax for a little bit.

You ever have one of those beginnings that are filled with a little drama? That was my beginning for the shift last night. Fellow worker having a moment, and I am thinking, "Just go home and quit your whining, get a little sleep." And, he did not stay around long enough to get an answer to his little whine session. He just makes his statement and then walks off before I can talk with him. Four years and 11 months to go for me, and I get the heck out of there. If I wasn't so close to retirement I think I would go to work as a diplomatic courier or something for State Department.
OK. I am through complaining.

It's funny you should mention that. I've actually been giving some serious thought to the DC position.
