Nothing new here. Weather changed from warm to cold and wet, but its ok somehow. Playing lots of bf3 beta, awesome game.

almost brought home a golden retriever puppy today, but the lady only took cash.  Maybe the kids will get a puppy for xmas after all.

PT test went well yesterday. I'm a little sore today, however. I put out a max effort that surpassed my numbers back in my academy days.
On to the background investigation now!

Yesterday was my last in patrol. I little weird and now I get to spend the day helping my five-year-old do his insanely large amount of homework for a kindergartener. I report to Weapons Training Staff Wednesday. Now I only have to worry about getting shot by one of my partners!

I just bought my Dads 2008 Ford Focus E85.
My dad is buying a VW Touareg and asked me if I'd like to buy his car.

Too much sausage will do that to me to, even if it is kosher beef or something like that. It just proves we're both getting older. 
Yesterday we went to Golden Corral. I had beef steak, fried white fish that was heavily seasoned; chicken livers; deep fried breaded okra; a chicken enchilada; some hush puppies; a little cole slaw; and a little sliver of chocolate cake, and three cups of coffee for dessert. Boy was I stuffed!! I stayed stuffed all the way until late evening. That was my first meal of the day that I had, and we ate later than usual so that was brunch for us.
Of course my sugar rises way up there and I had to knock that down with even more Novolog insulin. As it was it was a good thing that I had taken an initial usual pre meal bolus amount, or it would have been time to go to an emergency room according to medical standards, (screw that).
Then after that off to target to get a peel; a stone and some other stuff. I am getting my wife into whole rye bread making. It is suppose to not spike my glucose up so high, wheat will. It will be interesting to see how whole rye comes out. I could use a couple of covered bread pans for some recipes.

Well, at least you know the previous owner, LOL.
I know we have a gas station that says that they have E-93. Sounds odd. Frankly since it takes a lot of water and fuel, and corn for here to get alcholol fuel made I think they should quit. It drives up the cost of food. There are cheaper sources of alcohol but we're so far into the corn lobby keeping pressure on US Congress to accept that corn for the alcohol. Heck use it what it is intended for: food products, and whiskey.
I think all gas stations ought to where feasible get CNG filling stations going. It would be great for the area, the natural gas infrastructure including pipelines already exist, and people so inclined to use it would be able to get their fuel at a little less cost.

Physics will do away with some of the savings. E-85 takes up more room by volume due to properties of alcohol, in that it expands more in the tank.
