I hate taxes in general. I used to look at it from a union point of view, which is in order for the worker of the state to have a good pay check there needed to be sufficient taxes to fund it. Now, I understand that it is more complex than that.

I wish we would go to a fair tax system on both federal and state levels. I think we would all be better off.

Cool weekend, but not too bad. It was in the mid to high thirties, I think. Going to church as usual this morning.

No Superbowl party here even though I got me a cool 60" LCD! Gonna be watching the curling championships in Sweden on ESPN38 or whatever it's up to now.

Trust me... you are way too young to feel that way. You have not gone through some of the stuff that some people here have seen... not to discount what you are feeling... but at 29... you need to understand that you have at least 30-40 more years to go so it's too early to feel that way.

Maybe you need to come back for another vacation.

The occasional funk happens. I have been in it. Sometimes you just have to work your way through it, and keep on truckin. At 49 I find that I look to retiring. I only have 4 years and eleven months to go, give or take a few days. Go have a glass of wine and chill out some where for a bit, and do so with a friend, or go run it off at a running track or something. Even this fat boy finds that a little exercise helps out with the mental attitude a bit.

life has it ups and downs, lately I have felt like I am too old to be going back to college, although I know in the long run it will pay off and I will be able to actually earn some form of a pension because who knows if social security will be there when I make it to 65.

Somehow I am young, but on the other hand nearly all my friends have much more - thanks to their parents - and it seems like I am the only one with bad luck most of the time. They move on and I am stuck somehow. Last years felt like I am in the middle of a midlife crisis. Where to go, what to do.. dont know if thats normal at that age (proabably the job changed a lot).
I definitely want to come back, but last year the ***** started 30min after I entered my apartment, coming directly from the airport(which felt like a punch in the stomach because I was still loaded with all the nice memories)

Doesnt really work most of the times, or just for a short time. I have fun with friends, come home - bam - it hits me again. I do sports, take a shower, sit down at home - bam - hits me again. Last times I visited one of my best friends in Germany, to get out of my hometown, have some fun somewhere else, it hit me like two times harder when I returned because he has such a cool life and so many possibilities.

Well I quite decided to quit the telestudying I do now, because I dont like it how the system works.

I applied at another university outside Vienna. If they take me, I want to finish there. On the bad side, I have to start all over again... and really hope it pays off one day.

Cant someone get me a place at an american university? That would be cool...

Btw I wondered, if I would move to the US, would I have to work till I die?Dont think I would get much pension, right?
