Sweet dude!

I've had myself on a self-imposed spending freeze when it comes to guns lately. Funds are tight, so I'm just buying necessities like food, clothes and reloading components.

I love your idea of necessities; if I had the room to set up a reloading rig, I'd add that to mine, lol. As it is, it's been a box or two of Tula .223 ammo here and there ($5/box at wally world, usually).

See I make my little tax credits work for me. They both sort brass well and the older one is good at sifting brass out of the tumbling media.

If not for reloading I couldn't afford to shoot. I haven't calculated cost in a while, but I'm running somewhere between 50% and 75% saving over factory ammo. I'm loading on a simple single stage setup of Lee equipment. Its fairly slow at 80-100 rounds per hour, but extremely relaible and consistent.

Somehow 4 inches of snow has made Mid Michigan come to a grinding halt. Granted we have had very little snow this winter, but I've played a round of golf before with this much snow on the ground.

It got COLD here today! Temps in the low 20's/upper teens when I got to work, with wind chills in the single digits. 20-30 mph wind, maybe higher, and a little snow. And of course, this is my last day working the outside part of the compound; gotta have a nice send-off, I tell ya......lol.

And this is how you are trying to convince me to move there for retirement... to freeze my old bones off?

I'll be honest; the weather here is completely and totally unpredictable, long-term. We have a saying; if you don't like the weather, wait five minutes--it'll change!

Two words: Lake Effect, one part of the county will get 12-18 inches of snow, where as five miles down the road the sun could shine all day with no snow. One heck of day!

Thanks. Probably going to change the stock, though, to something wood or a Russian-type triangle side-folder. The Tapco one on it isn't well fit, and it seems extraordinarily long.

I'm just going to try to find either a wood stock that matches or a Russian-type triangle side-folder for it, but otherwise leaving it the way it is.
