good buy on Federal HST's

My local toy store is selling 180gr. 40s&w HST's for 16.99 per 50ct. If you are from the central Ohio area you may want to stop by Buckeye outdoors. I believe they may have them online at vanceoutdoors.com

I have picked up two boxes at Ft. Knox KY at $24 ea and two boxes locally for $20 ea, so thats a good price. Mine are as pictured and I actualy sliced my thumb running it along the tip of one of the hollowpoint rounds. I would be back for a few more boxes if I lived close.

Just keep in mind this is the "X" stuff. Brass cases instead of nickel. Also some people say the X stuff is simply gov order overrun ammo while others say it it out-of-spec (but it still fires obviously).

If I could find HST in the regular box and the Nickel case for $16.99 I would buy several thousand. Most places sell .40 HST in the $25 range.
