Police Who Threatened Videotape Arrest Are Now Subjects of Lawsuit

Summary: Pennsylvania man videotapes his auction. Two officers threaten arrest, alleging man is violating wiretapping laws. Man ceases taping, but files lawsuit later.

hmmm

Why not post this in cop talk? Seems like a good subject to be discussed by LEOs. It might be informative to see what the opinions are over there.

Excellent. Very much hope the RI will be completely successful in their suit. Beyond that, hopefully damages will be assessed at an extreme level against the officers, department and municipality, both criminal and civil for what was done. This is the only way that future compliance can be forced on the part of those who so routinely wish to restrict those rights specifically enumerated in the COTUS.
