Best Under Armour source?
Winter is here. I need another UA Cold Gear mock turtleneck, and a Cold Gear beanie-style stocking cap. Anyone got any good sources? Looks like full retail price for the turtlenecks is $50 and there seems to be a decent number of new ones for $40 on eBay. Anyone else gotten better deals recently from anywhere?

Yeah, just checked them and they are right at the $50 retail price at the moment.
I am open to any "other brand" recommendations, but so far it seems that UA Cold Gear is pretty unique. There are plenty of Heat Gear wicking material knockoffs that are about the same, but I haven't found a Cold Gear match yet. Maybe there's something out there I don't know about though...

UA has a program that gives discounts to LE. You might want to ask around in your area and see if anyone has the hook up. If I remember correctly it's like 20% off I think.

there's also the UA outlets to keep an eye on...
I got lucky last year and found 2 of these for 10 bucks each at Big 5 Sporting Goods... I guess they were out of packaging and super clearance... I like this as much as my UA
http://www.hotchillys.com/products/p...0.0.0.0?pp=12&
these are good too and half price of UA http://www.hotchillys.com/products/p...5.0.0.0?pp=12&
I just realized your in Illinois though, you might want something a little heavier than what I just showed you... The above shirt, my vest, and a longsleeve shirt keep me fine (without a jacket) out here down to the 40's as long as I'm moving...

Check your area for UA outlet stores. We have one in my area and usually can get UA ColdGear for about $35. Sometimes even cheaper if I find something in the bargain bin.

No UA outlet stores around here unfortunately, and yeah the last couple nights in IL the low temps have been 20's and frigid windchills around 0. Brutal! Colder than normal for this time of year, but typical winter temps that I'll be facing for the next several months. I need some type of Cold Gear that WORKS like the UA stuff does. Maybe I'll check out the Hotchilly's stuff.

Unfortunately it looks like Hotchilly's equivalent to UA Cold Gear is actually more expensive retail ( like this one) than UA. But it's something to keep an eye on for sale/clearance prices as you mentioned.

I'm striking out on the websites. The one UA Outlet link above is green 3XL only, ha! I need black Medium.
Do any of you with UA Outlet stores in your area visit them often? If so and there are deals on Cold Gear, I would be forever indebted if I could pay for to pick up an item and ship it to me. Might be good depending on price IF you will already be there. I don't want to inconvenience anyone in the slightest.

In my wintery illinois experience... Most thermal gear only works if you're actively generating body heat. the thin Rocky brand liner shirts and leggings that walmart sells work GREAT with my uniform. I'm never any colder in that stuff than I was wearing UA or ACG stuff, and I can get several tops and bottoms for the price I paid for one UA top.
