20SF ordered

"The waiting is the hardest part." -Thomas Earl Petty

I finally ordered a 20SF yesterday. They say it will take 8-12 weeks.

I was hoping to cash and carry. But my local cop shop does not have one and Ed's Public Safety cannot ship to Michigan any more. So if I want LEO price, I have to wait.

$462 ... plus about $32 for tax

Same with me.

I'd really like to buy a combine also. But I can hunt here with the 20SF so it was easier to get the wife's endorsement. I don't have any real NEED for the carbine.

It was also tough to decide between the 20SF and the 29SF.

In the end, it came down to getting a full grip on the 20SF. I know there are Pearce and similar extensions for the 29SF but I like the 20SF grip more.

That's about the same price I paid for my blue label. Comes with a total of three mags. I was lucky and found one about two hours away from where I live so I yelled to my wife...ROAD TRIP and off we went. I'm not good on waiting.

Amazingly my LGS has a G29, G29sf, and G20sf sitting under the glass counter...checked out the 29sf the other day, felt really good, but I almost feel like Id like the regular G29 better...Ive got the sf G20, but the non-sf just feels better in the 29 size...

Ed's apologized yesterday for not being able to sell to me. Then I got home today and found a UPS from Ed's at my door. I have not opened it yet but it must be some free promotional stuff.

Thanks to Ed's Public Safety.

Atalantic Tactical as the blue label G20SF (at least the store in NJ does):

If you don't want to wait for Ed's, you can have them ship to Your FFL.

I had found several online, but the Glock Blue Label program doesn't let them ship out of state...or so I was told. Then I went looking for one in my state and the closest I could find was a couple hundred miles away.

Ed's is in Georgia. They said they could also ship to Bama and the Carolinas.
