I worked with SGT Enzbrenner when I was an officer with APD in the late 80s and early 90s. Dave had grown up in Atchison and had settled down and married and raised a family . Dave was the epitomie of what you would call a good guy . I had not spoken too or seen Dave in years but I was stunned when I got the news about his killing last night. Rest in Peace Dave . You will be missed.

I have recently lost a fellow brother due to another's negligence....this is a tragic loss. I'm sorry for the officers family and I'm sad for the community's loss of what sounds to be a upstanding officer.
