Yeah, didn't see the 2005 date until after I posted.

I wonder if you can tell how big the internet is by timing the echo? It took 6 years from 2005 for this video to reappear...

6 years X 186,000 miles/hour * 24 hrs/day * 365 days/year = 9,776,160,000 miles round trip, divided by 2 for there and back..

The internet is 4,888,080,000 miles wide...

that is assuming we are on one extreme edge. we could be the center, or we could be off center.

so the internet is > or = 4,888,080,000 miles wide

wait!! light travels at 186,282.397 miles per second, not per hour.

3,600 sec per hour
86,400 sec per day
31,449,600 sec per year
so round trip is 5,858,506,872,691.2 miles
and by half 2,929,253,436,345.6 miles
