Ordered some stuff from LA Police gear...
Mac daddy head lamp to replace the crappy Energizer one I currently have, some more "Israeli" bandages, some QuikClot gauze and a Shemagh...because it was on sale... http://www.lapolicegear.com/5ive-shemagh.html and could be useful in my GHB.

This deserves it's own thread.

IMHO, it depends on what you want in your headlamp.
I have seen people who love their single 5w led and single AAA battery and love it. Personally, I want more light.

I have 2K lumins setup on a bicycling helmet, this is probably overkill for most applications but I love it for bicycling at night.

Then there are the millions of options in between.

Up next is a couple new tires. The ones on the front are pretty low on tread.

And for those wondering, it's a USMC sticker on the rear quarter window.
Nice choice! I have an '89 and have been slowly working on it. Funny dent in the drivers door, I have one exactly the same shape and size on the passenger door. It is from sagging door hinges, bad weatherstripping and old strike bolts; someone tried to shut the door and the thing didn't close all the way. They then tried to 'bump' it all the way closed after they shut it. The dent is from their hip.

You did well with the WM paint!

LMC truck has lots of parts and pick n pull also.

Is she a 350 or a 454?

Believe it or not, it's actually had a brand new 350 crate motor put in it, not much over 50k ago.

RW is right...tons of options

This one is about as bullet proof as I can find...IMO, its only real downside is the weight.

Buying a Remington 870 20 ga. tomorrow, just because the 12 ga. needs a little brother.

Has anyone seen 1.75 L of vodka for cheaper than $9.95 (Walmart)? Lots of good uses for alc. (making extracts, medicine, trade, etc) and I am trying to build up a small supply.

TIA,
Jay

Storage space being at a premium, I tend to go to top shelf stuff.

Not to mention, store what you drink, drink what you store mentality.

Plus making tinctures (elderberry, etc), for which I personally use the cheapest >80-proof stuff I can find.

None in our area cheaper than the price you list; the walmarts around us don't sell alcohol. Stupid, puritannical hypocrisy inherent in 'dry' counties. You can possess it here, you can consume it here, you can share it with your friends here; but you go to jail if you sell it here. Same logic the intellectually-dishonest puritannical hypocrites use with the prostitution laws. It's legal to have sex with someone you just met, but somehow reaches the level of imprisonable offense if you leave pieces of green paper on the dresser when you leave.

Sorry; didn't mean to jump on a soapbox so early in the morning.

It is the difference in buying it outright, leasing to own, renting it, and giving it away for free.

If someone was smart they would sell a spoon for full price and give the sex away for free with purchase of the spoon.

Couldn't resist the new Fallkniven SK series with laminated cobalt-steel blades. Ordered an SK6; with a 6.2" blade it's a little smaller than I typically like in a woods knife, but I'm that intrigued by the steel. In torture-testing, it seemed to beat out everything but the busse infi steel; which is phenomenal stuff.

Besides, it's just so friggin' pretty:

18 cords?!?

Do you not have a backyard left or or is the area you've designated for your wood full?

I know I can only store 2-3 cords at a time unless I want to piss off my wife.
