Springfield Loaded LW Champion Two tone, model px9149lp. Anyone have opinions, recommendations about this gun? It would be mostly used for iwb carry.
To date I only have 5" models, but was thinking a 4" model might be good for a carry/truck gun. Opinions on this gun???? Thanks in advance....

Those Champions hav a great track record.

My light weight Springfield Compact 45, which is very similar to the
Champion at ARogers Precision getting a bit of work done.

It shoots well, carries better!

My Compact is really nice. Very similar to the LW Champion w/ the exception of the slightly shorter grip.

I was thinking at 30 oz. it would carry well. Just wondering about reliability. Read the test Dave Severns did including the loaded. Funny how much tighter it shot using wad cutters than FMJ. Which brings up another question, any concerns using personal defense loads for a car/truck gun? Penetration?

Mine isn't a 4 but a 5 and it has been great.

I agree with the 4 in. carrying better. That's the size I carry most.

The Champions have always been reliable from what I've read.
Run good mags, change springs at 1200-1500 rounds fired, and
it should treat you well!

My Compact seemed to like 185gr Hornady Critical Defense.
