Another Gen 1 Checking In

Traded for this last week, it has had the Black Parts replaced at some point in time, is missing the Tupperware Box, and the Non Drop Free mags, and has finish wear on the slide, Born on Date of December 1988:

Glock Collector's Club

Glock Collector's Club

Glock Collector's Club

Now that I know it's had all the original parts replaced, it isn't worth anymore than what a standard used 17 is worth. Slide is gonna be refinished in Cerakote Cobalt.

Are 1st generation Glocks collectable? I have a G17, with non drop free magazines and the original box, but it's not for sale. Just wondering what a first gen. in original condition goes for.

Regards,

Rick

There was two on Gunbroker with original box, but one listing had a story that didn't make sense. IIRC they were around $700 ish last I checked.

I hope to add a Gen1 G17 to my collection at some point.
Not for collector value/investment but more for the history.

beautiful guns displayed.

Nice!

Wish I had kept mine. Even though it was a police trade in, and had TONS of wear, so much that the slide ranged from spots of gray to downright shiny.
