New PM9!
Picked up a new PM9 today....LOVE IT!! I've shot it about 30 times in the backyard, not one hiccup! I did my routine 1911 break-in on this one, which is basically to strip it down, clean it, lube it and rack the slide about 500 times to loosen it up a bit.
Put some 115gr FMJ's through it, 124gr Starfires, 147 Golden Sabres and 147gr Ranger T's through it and it shot like a dream. I think it recoils less than my LCP!! Oh, and it has night sights!!! I'm really liking the trigger too!
Very happy with this purchase!
Here it is with my first ever shots through it

I've had mine since 2005 and have recorded over 13K rounds thru it and can honestly say I have had only 3 jams/stove-pipes which is incredible for any gun...PERIOD !
I trust my life & families lives with this little beauty and I wouldn't trade it in for anything else out there.
Good Luck & I hope you have the same success with yours.

Congratulations on your new purchase
I have a MK40 Elite myself.
Other than a long 400 round break in I wasn't ready for,
I'm totally pleased with the gun.
It's completely reliable, super accurate and surprisingly easy to shoot
for a micro 3" 40. Fit and finish on the all stainless steel gun is outstanding.
Just like a Swiss watch - LOL.
I think this new micro 45 craze is funny.
As my MK40 is smaller and lighter.
With the 40 performing better from a 3" barrel than any .45.
(Speer GDHP 155 gr 1150 fps 450 E)
Kahrs are highly underrated and misunderstood guns.
Enjoy

Think again about the weight comment - the MK40 runs 23.1 ounces, Magazine 1.9 ounces, while the PM45 runs 17.3 oz., Magazine 2 oz.

I had a PM9 and it was an excellent gun. I now have a MK9 only because I prefer an all steel gun. I never had any problems with either one of them.

Its a great gun. My BUG on duty and now my usual off duty gun. Have about 500 rounds through it and not one issue.

Congrats on your new PM9. I've had mine for about 5 years now, and love it. I've never had one issue with my PM9, and think it's the best sub compact 9mm out there. Very small, great trigger, great sights, top notch quality, and again, 100% reliable; what's not to like...? The PM9, and Colt Defender are my go-to carry guns.
They don't get the press like the bigger manufacturers, but for those 'in the know,' Kahr makes some very nice pistols.

Good looking gun. Not seeing too many guns with new PM9's anymore. Almost everyone I see now is getting the CM9, unless they want the black finish.
