Remora 3 in 1 holster?

Thinking about picking one up for my Ruger LCR. My only concern is the patch that covers the Velcro when using it as IWB will be rough or poke my skin. Also concerned about the retention strap irritating when used as ankle holster. Anyone tried the 3:1? Other thoughts?
Thanks!

I haven't used the holster, but I have faced similar problems with bits of nylon/velcro.

If something does develop a chafe point, get some moleskin from the local drugstore. Cut a piece to size and affix it to the problem spot.

So apparently not many people have experience with the 3 in 1. Is there a reason or just a relatively new product?

I own a Remora Holster.. but am unsure what you are talking about. I don't think they have a 3 in 1 holster nor do they have any velcro on their holsters.

remora recently came out with a new 3 in 1 holster. i have the original style remora so i cant comment on the 3 in 1. i really like the original though FWIW.

I'm not seeing this "3 in 1" holster on their web site.

The 3 in one is an ankle, pocket, and IWB. As an ankle, it looks like most other ankle holsters. To convert it you remove the Velcro that straps to your ankle, the add a patch over the Velcro to give it the normal remora use.

Sounds like an attempt to fix something that is not broken. The original Remora design is brilliant as it is, and I am not sure that further tinkering would result in a better product.
