Kel-Tec Sub 2000 .40
I've been looking for a Sub 2000 in .40 that takes Glock magazine for months and months now. I cannot seem to find one new, and when i do find one it is around $200 more than they normally go for. When i find a used one, it also is way overpriced. My local gun shop had them for $297 but I didnt have the cash on hand at the time, and they quickly sold out. Most retailers that i find online have them listed for anywhere from $280-320 NIB but are on backorder.
My question to you is, does anyone know where I can find a NIB or LNIB Kel-tec Sub 2000 in .40 that takes Glock magazines, that is around the $300 price range. No one seems to know when they will receive a new shipment, so I dont want to order one and play the waiting game. Any help is appreciated.

And i forgot to add, my LGS owner was at shot show, he is currently at a show in texas, and has another show immediately after that. So he has been out of contact for the past week, and i wont be able to talk to him for another week.

Yup, ED is a great guy, and has the best prices around. He definitely stole my business from GunsPlus.

Depending how bad you want one, you may have to part with $400 or more for one. I was on the same mission earlier last year. Searched multiple states and found one. Drove a few hours to get it. Supply and demand dictates the price.

Im just going to call my LGS in the morning and see if i can put down a deposit on one, so i can make sure i get one whenever they get one in. I dont want to pay an extra $200 for a $300 gun. Doesnt make sense to me, and plus, that extra could be put towards a new Glock

I bought one from jim's in Wilmington a few months ago for $319.00 NIB. I was shocked to see it at that price there so I bought it.

I haven't had an opportunity to try it yet. I bought it as a compact trunk weapon for traveling to compliment my G27 off duty weapon.

Well, the Sub 2K, or any Kel-Tec for that matter, is just a hard animal to find. There is a rumor that Kel-Tec is going to step up production in 2012. They are just hard to find, which I think helps to drive the price up. Tho not in .40, I just picked one up in 9mm with the Glock 17 mag for $315. It is a blast to shoot. Many complain about the accuracy, but I think it is just fine for what it is. I can pick a chili can off at 50 yards with no problem. Only problem with it is that it tends to run out of ammo...
If I remember correctly, MSRP is $409 for both the 9mm and .40. They seem to be going for $360 to $400 on GunBroker.

I picked up a .40 for $374 and a 9mm for $319 from the LGS. They are usually available at a couple of the Richmond area shops. I love mine perfect compliment for a G22 and G17. Just my 2 cents.
