Carried a G30 with 10mm conversion barrel in an Aker Flatsider for a few years. Loved it.

To answer the OP question, I carry mine everyday. I also make my own holsters, so I can really custom fit/design for what I want.

Bottom line is, I don't think a 20 is too big for EDC. I am 6'3'' and 3 spins though too.

I carry my G29SF as an EDC CCW. Recently, I switched from a TT Gunleather IWB holster to a very thin Kydex IWB holster made by Dead Eye Luke holsters. It isn't fancy looking or inclusive of fine high-end materials, but it does the job well -- and is extremely comfortable due to the thin nature and light weight.

I use the 135 gr Nosler JHPs from DoubleTap - but plan to rotate those out with the same load by Underwood when it is time for fresh carry ammo (every six months for me).

Handload Hornady 180gr. XTP at about 1270 fps when I am in the woods. Hornady 165gr. Critical Defense for in town right now. I might change the in town load, though.

I float.

Funny you mention it, I left a Hornady 180gr factory load in my pants pocket one day, and those jeans ended going through the washing machine. I figured that bullet was toast, but I chambered it, and it fired just fine. I am sure a lot of other companies bullets can do that too, but I know the Hornady does.

I have a box of Swampfox 200gr. XTP left from Mike. Almost shot it and threw out the box until I heard the news. It seems a little sacrilegious now. I think I'll hold onto it for old time's sake.

How do you like the holsters. Have been thinking about the same two with a surefire x300.

Sort of... The ink is water proof, so it won't smudge or smear. If the paper gets wet the ink will not run or bloat. I got several boxes when an Office Max went out of business.

I tried it a few times, its a tad too large for my taste, just a little too easy to be spotted IMO.

Its a bummer really, because now I have to go buy a 29sf and an MTAC holster, damn.

I have a Glock 20C that I carry in a RSR Defense M1000 and I'm going to pick up a MIC for the warmer summer months.
