Question on parking in front of house with new business coming....

Hey guys,

Last year I purchased an investment/rental property in a small area in PA not to far from where I live.

It's a half a double with really no land but plenty of parking out front. There is an empty lot next to the house that I was trying to purchase to put up a garage, but it was sold by the bourough to a local business and they are putting a pharmacy on the lot with a drive through.

While I was outside working on the joint today, the surveyor was there and was telling me that because of the driveway exit (running perpendicular to the street I am on) that parking infront of my house and the anyone else on my block will be banished. They say it's to prevent accidents.

Is this legal to prevent myself, my tenants, or a future buyer from parking in front of the house?

In this case, it is going hurt the rental and/or if I decide to sell.

Any idea of the legality?

Thanks
