Rohrbaugh R380 Opinion

Whats your opinion on the Rohrbaugh R380. Was looking it up and from blogs and other places I hear good things. Anyone have a different one?

I have no experience with the .380 model, but a friend does own the 9mm version. It is very high quality and works well. A few years ago it was a wait listed gun like the Seecamps used to be.

They are known to be finicky. 8 years ago there was not much choice in pocket pistols with stopping power.

These days it is a whole new ball game. The Rohrbaugh is overpriced for what you get IMO.

Too many good pocket 380s to buy a really pricey one. The R9 was considerably smaller and lighter than other 9mm pistols. The 380 is actually bigger and heavier than other popular models.
As I go through life I keep coming to the same conclusion, people are generally stupid.

The .380 is Rohrbaugh's answer to a question no one asked. It is the same size as the 9mm. The question is why get the .380 instead of the 9?

With a high price tag and recommend spring changes every 200 rounds, you have much better options. Why not try a LCP, LC9, PF9 and 8 boxes of ammo for the price of 1 Rohrbaugh.

I like the Rohrbaugh 9mm quite a bit, but I don't see the point of the 380 version.
