FX 45 COmmander size, anyone bought one

The FX 1911s are the best from the Philippines, in my opinion.
SAM builds them.

I have three sizes of the ATI FX45s.
FX45 M1911 MILITARY
FX45 M1911 GI
FX45 M1911 TITAN
All of them have good shooters. Superb construction as well.

Great gun for low price. SAM is the best out of three Filipino manufacturers (Metro Arms and ARMSCOR of Phillipines). American Tactical is the only outfit that imports SAM pistols right now.
These FX pistols come with ACT mags. Some owners reported that the ACT mags don't work too well with their guns. Mine have zero issues with the ACT mag that came with the gun and the extra ACT mags that I bought.
Look at that slide-to-frame fit. Ruger, SW, Colt and Kimber can't touch that at double the price.

I bought a commander model, it was 100% reliable, and I shot it much better than any of my brother's springfield mil-specs. Maybe i had an unfair advantage dry firing mine a bit before hitting the range. Great pistol, at a great value. You'll be glad you got one. You'll wish you got two.

They just seem the most solid of the three companies. The SAM 1911s seem to have the best fit and finish when I compare them back to back to back.
Don't get me wrong, I like Armscor and Metro also. I believe Armscor is the largest of the three by far.
