Do you like your stainless Mil Spec?

For those of you who own one, do you have any complaints?

I have a stainless GI Springfield. The lesser gun of the Milspec.
I love mine. No problems with it whatsoever.

If I could find one with an NM frame I would probably love it. I have been happy with my parkerized Mil Spec.

My SS Milspec has been completely reliable from day one. I have about 800 rounds through mine with no malfunctions or breakages to report. So yeah I would have to say I like mine plus it was my first 1911.

I like mine. I found that it doesn't like Colt mags, but what guns do?

Thank you all for the replies.

How was the trigger out of the box?

Has anyone done some work on theirs?

I have a parkerized Mil-Spec. It's been a great gun, very tightly fit for it's price. My trigger is a little heavy as far as 1911s go, but it was a $600 gun (give or take, I can't remember now) so I don't complain about it.

I had one. If I were to do it over, I would've went with a parkerized carbon steel version...much tighter fitting.

Then I traded it for a much rarer SA Compact. Completely happy with it.

My Colt likes 'em, my Springer GI likes 'em, & my Springer Loaded likes 'em.
